The Guild Members’ Challenge this year was ‘All That Glistens’ and our own Elaine Izod won the Margaret Nicholson Award for Composition with her piece, ’Icy Road Conditions’. She was also Highly Commended in the Constance Howard Award for ‘The Most Outstanding Piece’. The judges’ comment on her work was "A beautifully designed piece which brings out the feel of ice and snow, effective use of hand embroidery".

Elaine is a member of the textile exhibiting group, Diversity and also a member of Wokingham and District Branch.

 Congratulations, Elaine!
